This winter transfer market is always a period of intense rumour and possible major moves. Several notable stars are being linked with moves out of their current clubs. Here is a look at a selection of the major names that could be changing clubs this month.

A. Semenyo

Although the Black Stars' inability to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations, which has kept the player in contention, indications are a significant move is imminent. The 25-year-old has a contract with a £65 million release clause active for a brief period in early January. Latest reports point to the Premier League champions look to have won the race for his signature. Marc Guéhi

Following starring at the Under-19 European Championship, he has become a regular in the AZ first team. The 19-year-old is widely expected to make a big-money move this month. Newcastle United are believed to be leading the chase, but could face strong competition from the Spanish champions for a deal priced at around £22 million.
